Behind strong returns for McDonald's and Walmart stocks, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is trading up Wednesday morning. Shares of McDonald's MCD,
and Walmart WMT,
contributed to the intraday rally of the blue-chip gauge, such as the Dow DJIA,
last traded 133 points, or 0.4%, higher. Shares of McDonald's are up $3.68 or 1.5% while Walmart's are up $1.57 or 1.2%, adding up about 35 points for the Dow. Other components that contributed significantly to the profit include Boeing BA,
Nike NKE,
and American Express AXP,
A $1 move in any of the benchmark's 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
